CNC Engineer PT. Rapala VMC Batam

PT Rapala VMC Batam began operation in November 2011, as the Asian manufacturing center for Rapala VMC Group. The factory makes a large variety of fishing lures under the Rapala VMC Group’s many different brands. The products are sold worldwide, primarily through its own distribution companies.

The Batam factory is undergoing a rapid expansion and is now recruiting talented technical staff to help support and oversee its strong growth. Requirements

1. At least 5 years experience with the programming of CNC Milling and Turning Machines
2. Experience of various machine tool controls, Auto CAD, CNC CAM and UG NX-CAM
3. Good knowledge of tool room equipment, mould repairing and mould making
4. Capable to operate lathe, milling, grinding, EDM
5. Good command in English

Responsibilities

1. To create method sheets, tooling sheets, setting sheets, planning and all kind of technical drawings and assist in the management of consumable tooling
2. Reponsible for maintaining CNC program number database
3. To follow up the tool room jobs
4. To modify the mould designs
5. Having a completely flexible and “can do” attitude to all tasks required and working practices
