Wohlrab Aufdampftechnik GmbH was established in 1975 as an engineering firm for special-purpose machinery by Johann K Wohlrab. The contract coating division grew from the plant construction activities. With the entrance of Christian Wohlrab to management in 2000 the company gained an additional 1,500 m2 of production and warehouse space. Since the foundation of Wohlrab Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore with production site in Batam (Indonesia) in 2012, the Wohlrab Group of Companies has its first representation in Asia.
